    Registration

    (Course is designed to enhance Paperwork skills for Supervisors/Foreman)

    During this 2 hour training course, students will learn about Daily Job Reports, Memos, Take-off, RFI's and Change Order Packets

  • Sheet Metal Layout I (Basic Layout) - Mar. 16, 2021 (Basic Trade Knowledge Required)

    Registration

    (This course will introduce you to sheet metal layout and teach you how to fabricate basic fittings) - This course includes 8 hours of hands-on training.

    During this 8 week training course, students will learn sheet metal processes, principles of layout, and how to layout basic fittings. (Drafting board and tools required)

  • Sheet Metal Layout II (Advanced Layout) - Coming Fall 2021

    Registration

    (Course is designed to enhance layout skills) - Prerequisite: Must have basic layout experience or successfully passed the Sheet Metal Layout I course - This course includes 8 hours of hands-on training. 

    During this 7 week training course, students will learn how to layout different types of square to rounds, elbows, round ventilator, water pitcher, and lantern. (Drafting board and tools required)

How our "Live" Online Training Works

Students attend "live" online classes once a week.  Each class is 2 hours long.  During the online classes, students are able to interact with the instructor in real time.  Student's can ask questions using the text chat box or by using thier microphone.  Each online class is followed up by a homework assignment.


Structured System of Hands-on Assignments

ACTA offers hands-on training for most of our sheet metal courses.  Hands-on training will enhance your learning experience and give you the extra knowledge needed to be successful in the sheet metal industry.


Student Qualifications

  • Computer or Tablet 
  • Headset with microphone that can be plugged into the PC or Tablet or a dial in audio connection 
  • Internet connection  
  • Basic math skills

Certificates

Students will receive a Certificate of Completion once they finish the course with satisfactory online class attendance, lab attendance, and a passing score of 70% or higher.
